Course description

If you have a lively and enquiring mind, have an interest in the world we live in, including current affairs, the environment and the future of the planet and humankind, then you will enjoy this course.

The course will encourage you to ask questions – What? Where? How? Why? and to develop a wide range of cartographic, graphical, statistical and research skills.

You should want to explore new ideas and be able to communicate effectively and be a team player as this will be useful in investigative work.

What will I learn?
This course is designed to highlight the main issues and concepts that young adults are likely to encounter in their current and future lives, such that they can make better-informed decisions and be sensitive to a wide range of viewpoints and challenges.

Entry requirements

Grade 5 in GCSE Geography.
