Course description

This qualification is for anyone wanting to work in fabrication and welding. There are options to suit a wide range of specialisms and skill levels.
 
You will learn the skills to demonstrate competence in joining, welding, cutting or forming of materials.
 
Mandatory units are:
 
• Complying with statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements
• Using and interpreting engineering data and documentation
• Working efficiently and effectively in engineering
 
You will also choose from a range of optional units.

Assessment

Continuous assessment at college and in the workplace.
