Beauty Therapy Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 at PETROC

Course description

Therapy techniques used in the beauty business are becoming more and more advanced, qualifications are becoming ever more valuable to employers. You will learn creative skills of a beauty therapist, including make-up, manicure, pedicure, nail art, facial skin care, eyelash and brow treatments, waxing and tanning.

Course content

Make-up, manicure, pedicure, nail art, facial skin care, eyelash and brow treatments, waxing and tanning.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grade D or equivalent or successful completion of a Level 1 related beauty course.

Assessment

A range of theory and practical assessments to support your learning and test knowledge and skills development. Assessments are completed by work place observations, case studies, practical and external assessments.
