Contemporary Music Practice Certificate - Level 1 at Hereward College
This is a vocationally-related qualification intended to provide candidates with skills in contemporary music practice. You will learn aspects of music composition and music performance techniques. You will develop your knowledge in music of a variety of styles and your ability to evaluate the outcome of your work. This course provides you with the skills to perform music live.
No formal qualifications are required for entry on the course, however, you must demonstrate an enthusiastic attitude for the subject of music and the potential to achieve at Level 1. The ability to play a musical instrument would be beneficial but is not essential.
Course work and/or exam or controlled tests
Progression to Level 2 related courses such as ncfe Level 2 Certificate in Music Technology or GCSE Music.
