Communication and Culture AS/A Level at Boston College

Course description

If you are passionate about Film and Television Production, and enjoy working in a creative, exciting environment, then studying the Creative Media Production A-level is the choice for you.

You will work within our fully functional creative editing suites, including an Apple Mac suite with the latest software, TV Studio, and Photography Studio to generate personalised projects relating to topics that interest you. You will learn how the Media industry works, undertake camera workshops to learn how to operate digital SLRs, construct advertising campaigns, create stop motion animation films, and much more.

Your lecturers all have a working knowledge of the Media industry and are still actively involved in the business outside of the College, resulting in accurate, up-to-date knowledge being shared in lectures.

This is a practical course that also looks at analytical Media skills. These translate into work you would produce in a real Media environment.

The Certificate is equivalent to 1 AS level grade A*-C.
