Course description

What will I be studying?

AS Philosophy and Ethics is ideal for students who like to think deeply about issues and are keen to develop an inquiring and critical mind and is valuable as an additional AS Level for any university course.

AS Level - 2 units

Foundation and investigation: Philosophical debates, about the existence of God and evil and suffering, ethical theories and research based topic.

A2 Level - 2 units

Developments and implications: Philosophical arguments, study of ethical language, law, punishment and justice, life after death and the nature of knowledge.

Where can it take me?

Philosophy and Ethics A Level is acceptable to all universities as one of the most traditional and valuable academic subjects.

Entry requirements

At least 4 C grades at GCSE (or equivalent) in at least 3 different subjects.
