Heating & Ventilating Intermediate Apprenticeship – Level 2 at Dudley College
The qualification meet the needs of learners in England, Wales and Northern Ireland who want to work as a heating and ventilation engineer installing industrial and commercial systems, equipment and components in buildings, structures and the environment within the Building Services industry.
To achieve this diploma you must achieve all specified units: Health, safety and welfare in construction• Functional skills/GCSE in maths and English • Work experience
• Performance improvement programme.
Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Heating and Ventilating Industrial and Commercial Installation

203 Understand how to apply environment protection measures within BSE
204 Understand how to apply scientific principles within MES
205 Understand and carry out site preparation and fabrication techniques for industrial and commercial systems
208 Understand industrial and commercial heating system installation techniques
209 Understand industrial and commercial chilled water system installation techniques
228 Understand industrial and commercial cold water system installation techniques
229 Understand industrial and commercial hot water system installation techniques
210 Apply safe working practices in building services engineering working environment
230 Install industrial and commercial heating and ventilating systems
This will suit you if you are working, or would like to start work, installing industrial systems and have some relevant knowledge and skills, usually from a role where you've been supervised. Together with a successful interview.
