Entry requirements

5 GCSE grades A* - C including English and/or maths.  Grade B in maths and B in science core/additional/separate chemistry/biology/physics.

Assessment

This qualification is linear, meaning that students will sit all their AS exams at the end of the AS course and all of their A Level exams at the end of the A Level course.

•  There are six required practicals at AS and six further required practicals for A Level chemistry

 
There are two, one and a half-hour exams for AS Chemistry and three, two-hour exams for the full A-Level.
