Physics A Level at London Academy

Course description

Physics provides a smooth transition for Year 12 students from topics covered on the Edexcel Additional Science course. It provides the opportunity to venture into the field of particle physics to provide a new interest and dimension to subject knowledge. A2 includes optional topics such as: astrophysics, medical physics, applied physics and electronics.

Entry requirements

Students are expected to have gained 5 A*-C grades at GCSE, including C grades for Core Science and Additional Science, students are expected to have completed Higher Tier for GCSE Science. It is advisable to also have C grades in Maths and English Language.
