Food and Nutrition - AS / A Level at St Alban's Catholic High School

Course description

The growth in the food industry has been phenomenal over the last 5 years, with

approximately 150 new food and drinks products being launched every week! Studying

Food Technology at A Level is a way into this dynamic, varied and well paid industry.

The course is taught through practical work, formal teaching of food science theory,

discussion and independent student research.

Future opportunities

The nature of Design and Technology is so diverse that the Food Technology A Level can

be used as an entry to a vast range of degree and other higher level courses, both science

and business based.
