Accounting AAT Apprenticeship Level 2 at Buxton & Leek College

Course description

This AAT qualification in Accountancy gives apprentices a solid grounding to work in an accountancy role in public or private sector organisations, or any other financial environment. Delivery will include attending college one evening per week together with taught sessions for English & maths.  Your employer will work in partnership with us to deliver your training programme.  This qualification is assessed in the workplace together with completing professional examinations.

The Apprenticeship is for those who want to develop their skills in financial administration: double entry bookkeeping, basic costing principles & purchase, sales and general ledgers to become a future accountant.  

Course content

The AAT Accounting Qualification is suitable for roles like: Accounts assistant, accounts clerk, cashier, credit control clerk, finance assistant, purchase ledger clerk and sales ledger clerk. Progression can include the Level 3 / 4 Diploma in Accounting which will provide the skills & knowledge to develop as a finance professional and full membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
