Biology A-Level at St Mark's West Essex Catholic School

Course description

Biology is a key science related to our understanding of the world and living organisms. It is essential for some careers and is widely accepted for a range of degrees including Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Radiography. AS/A2 Biology combines theoretical work with practical experimentation and develops both subject knowledge and scientific skills. You will have the opportunity to study many aspects of the living world in depth and to expand your knowledge and understanding of the complex symbiotic relationships between organisms and their environments.

GCSE Biology Grade B or GCSE Core and Additional Science Grade B
