Course description

Successful completion of programme will ensure learners are work ready

10 weeks work placement with an employer

Course content

This Information Technology course is a one year full time course in college incorporating work placement in an Information Technology department.

You will study for 30 hours per week on a wide range of subjects and all students will get a non means tested Educational Maintenance Allowance Grant of £30 per week.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Mathematics or English Grade A-C plus two other GCSE grades A-C or
  • ESW Aon and Communication level 2
  • Successful Interview
  • Entrance/Initial Assessment
  • Applicants must be between 16-24

The pathways to Apprenticeships programme is part funded by the EU's European Social Fund ( ESF ) through the Welsh Government

Future opportunities

Successful completion of the programme will provide skills to be able to progress onto an employed status apprenticeship and obtain higher level qualifications by studying part time.
