Spanish at South Holderness Technology College

Course description

Any modern language will provide you with a very valuable extra skill to add to your other subjects. It will give you a definite advantage in the job market and you can combine a language with many other subjects at University.

Spanish is an extremely important world language, spoken in 21 countries and by approximately 400 million people, from Spain to El Salvador and from Argentina to Mexico, so there are plenty of chances to use Spanish either on holiday or for work purposes.

You will immerse yourself in various forms of literature and media to better understand the subject.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs A-C grade including Maths and English

A grade B in GCSE subjects is required for most A Level programmes. Please speak to the sixth form subject teacher for specific details on course entry.
