Creative Media Production, Level 2 Diploma at Abingdon and Witney College

Course description

The majority of the course is coursework based, however there are two exam-assessed units. The year will conclude with a final major project in which you will choose and manage the project that you work on, utilising the range of skills that you have developed over the course. To give you the best opportunity to successfully respond to the briefs, we are extremely well resourced with professional cameras, edit suites, a radio studio and a television studio. By the end of this course, as well as the qualification you will have developed an extensive portfolio of work, which will elp you be ready for your next step, whether it be a Level 3 qualification or employment. Abingdon and Witney College have well established links with creative and cultural industries within Oxfordshire and beyond. We use these links to ensure you get a real-world experience and exposure as an emerging Creative. All students will have the opportunity to visit the UCAS Design Your Future Excel Centre in London.



Entry requirements

You will need a minimum of four qualifications from Functional Skills at Level 1 or GCSEs at grade D or above
Level 1 Certificate in Art, Design and Media.

You will be required to attend a formal interview, demonstrating your interest in a creative subject, and to provide a positive reference
