Course description

If you get a buzz from talking to people, like to sort out problems and work well with others, then a career in customer service could be for you. We have a number of opportunities available NOW in many parts of the country, working in telemarketing, in call centres, on help desks and more.

Customer Service Apprenticeships with esg are full time jobs with training towards recognised vocational qualifications, so you learn the role and build your skills as you do the job. You will be employed from day one and receive a real wage, so there's no need to get into debt at college because you are getting paid to study. Apprenticeship features

Apprenticeships areavailable at Intermediate and Advanced levels depending on your age and ability and include an NVQ certificate or diploma, technical qualifications in customer service and essential qualifications in maths and English to support your ongoing development. You will be guided by our professional assessors every step of the way who provide one-to-one support and guidance throughout your programme.

What skills will I learn?

What you learn as an apprentice will depend on your role and the type of business, but this can include:

  • Developing customer relationships
  • Resolving customer problems
  • Organising, delivering and maintaining reliable customer service
  • Promoting additional products or services to customers

Where can it lead?

With an Apprenticeship in Customer Service you could find yourself working as a telesales executive, customer service assistant, help desk administrator or even a team leader. You can progress your development further by doing advanced, higher or even degree level training once you've finished your Apprenticeship.
