Hairdressing Apprenticeship Level 2 at Warwickshire College Group

Course description

An apprenticeship includes the following:

NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing

Employments Rights and Responsibilities

Functional Skills Level 1 -  English (exempt if you have grade A-E or above GCSE)

Functional Skills Level 1 - Maths (exempt if you have grade A-E or above GCSE)

Course content

Advise and consult with clients

Shampoo, condition and treat hair and scalp

Change hair colour

Style and finish hair

Set and dress hair

Cut hair using basic techniques

Optional units are:

Fulfill salon reception duties
Plaiting and twisting hair

Assessment

Theory
Continuous Assessment
Practical Observation
Written test
