Business Studies at The Blandford School

Course description

Business is one of the most popular choices in the UK at both A Level and Degree level. Many of the concepts and issues that are dealt with in the course are ones that you will face in the world outside of education. The areas covered by the course range from examining how firms can get the most from their workforce to the effects of government decisions on the economy as a whole. From motivation theory to financial analysis, your studies will help you to develop an awareness of the pressures on businesses that will improve your value as a future employee in any business. The business world is constantly changing and the course reflects this through the examination of modern, cutting-edge theories that the most successful firms are employing today.
