Level 3 GCE A Level in History A FTS at Chesterfield College

Course description

History is about the present and the future not just the past. It opens up a fascinating and dynamic way of thinking about society and humanity. History is so in demand from universities and employers because it requires you to retain and process complex knowledge and ideas, critically engage and analyse, and express ourselves clearly and accurately. We study quite modern history:◾1930–1997 particularly focusing on Churchill 1930–1951◾Democracy and Dictatorships in Germany 1919–1963◾The Challenge of German Nationalism 1789–1919
