Economics at Minster School

Course description

Economics is looking at how our economy and other economies work. A knowledge of Economics is essential to understand both the challenges and opportunities that will face the world in the 21st century. By using economic theory we discuss and try to find solutions to current economic problems.

An interest in current affairs is desirable to help you to apply the concepts to real world events. This is not a science. You need to present your points and support them with relevant arguments.

Entry requirements

Standard Entry Requirement - 5 GCSE's grade C or above including Maths and English
