Drama and Theatre Studies - AS / A Level at St Alban's Catholic High School

Course description

A Level Drama and Theatre will be assessed through a combination of a 40% written exam

and 60% non-examined assessment. The course is both lively and stimulating. It is hard

work but great fun and you will quickly become part of a very strong and supportive

team. We look at theatre production and theatre practitioners in a very ‘hands on’ practical

way. You can study either performance or production design as your main emphasis –

both carry equal weighting. If you like working closely with others, as part of a team and

are prepared to give up your own time to rehearse for examined performances and have

a genuine love and interest in theatre then this is the course for you!
