Course description
If you are employed in the engineering industry and wish to gain an apprenticeship framework qualification this is the 4 year level 3 course for you
Course content
You will choose one of five routeways: ENG0069P - Engineering Maintenance ENG0071P - Mechanical Manufacturing ENG0072P - Technical Support ENG0081P - Electrical and Electronic Programme Engineering ENG0070P - Fabrication and Welding You will study higher level engineering theory and explore units that cover planned and preventative maintenance approach. Ideal if you are employed in a mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, electronic engineering or a welding and fabrication role and you would like to gain a higher level qualification.
Entry requirements
You should have a relevant Level 2 qualification and be employed in the industry.
Assessment
Learners will be required to complete assessments for the technical certificate and compile a portfolio of evidence of competency for the NVQ. Key/Functional skills have examinations and or portfolios of evidence
Future opportunities
Learners can move to the L3 Diploma course or the HNC Engineering course if good grades have been achieved
