Entry requirements

Previous experience in Design Technology.

Assessment

40% Exam Based for Unit 1 and Unit 3
60% course work based for Unit 2 and unit 4

Future opportunities

Progression

Degree courses offer a variety of pathways into FE. Apprenticeships can vary from international opportunities with BAE for example, to local designers and manufacturers. Internships in many aspects of technology are also commonplace.
