Physics at Shaftesbury School
Physics uses concepts such as force and energy to uncover the mathematical principles on which the everyday world and the universe operate. Topics include motion, electricity, waves, fields, electromagnetism, gravity, car safety, quantum and nuclear physics, and medical applications. If you enjoy finding out how things work, thinking carefully and logically, and using mathematical skills to analyse experiments and solve problems, then physics could be for you.
General entry requirement for Level 3 is 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C incl. English Language and Maths. Subject specific entry requirements: Grade B at Additional Science and Maths.
