Financial Services Level 3 Certificate/Diploma at Haverstock School

Course description

The Certificate and Diploma in financial studies has been designed to encourage individuals to be inspired to meet their lifestyle aspirations. This will be achieved by teaching them to apply the appropriate solution(s) from the wide range available within the evolving financial services marketplace.

The course enables students to apply specialised knowledge of financial capability, financial sustainability and finance concepts and theories.

Students will be provided with the tools and terminology necessary to analyse financial services products. Students will also develop an understanding of the wider financial services industry and explore key developments affecting consumers in recent years.

Entry requirements

6+ GCSEs including C+ in maths and English language
Enrolled on the Academy of Finance programme.

Assessment

Four units will be studied comprising 100 marks per unit.

Future opportunities

Degree in financial services at Surrey University as an example or suitable for a career in a bank or a building society. Some ex students of this course are now financial advisors for banks or building societies.
