Plastering C-Skills Level 3 Diploma at Carshalton College

Course description

This course allows the leartner to further develop the skills and knowledge learnt from level 2 Plastering enabling you to work at an advanced level in the industry.

It prepares the learner to take higher level qualifications to enable them to qualify as team leaders and managers within the construction industry.

Course content

There are six units including both theory and practical classes:

  • Health, safety and welfare
  • Technical information, quantities and communication
  • The construction and the built environment
  • Apply plaster materials to produce complex internal surfaces
  • Apply render to produce complex external surfaces
  • Prepare and run in-situ moulds

Entry requirements

Successful completion of the C-Skills Level 2 Plastering course or similar level skills course.

Financial information

Fees are not normally paid by 16 to 18 year olds.

Future opportunities

Successful completion of this course will allow you the opportunity to progress to Higher Education or an apprenticeship.
