Further Maths AS A2 at Bishop Stopford CE School

Further Maths is designed for students who wish to develop their learning beyond A level Mathematics content and depth: it must be taken in conjunction with A Level Mathematics.

If you wish to study a maths, physics or engineering degree it can be a requirement to have Further Maths at AS/A. You should check with individual institutions for entry requirements.

For those students considering an application to Oxford or Cambridge for a Mathematics, Natural Science or Engineering degree, Further Maths at AS/A level is good preparation for the entrance tests used by Oxford and Cambridge as part of their selection criteria.
