Psychology A-Level *FEES PAYABLE* at St Mary's Senior School

Course description

Aims of the Course The chief aim of the course is to develop students’ interest in and enthusiasm for the study of psychology. Other aims: • To appreciate the scientific nature of psychology and to engage in contemporary debates through an understanding of research. • To develop and demonstrate a deeper appreciation of the skills, knowledge and understanding of psychology. • To develop essential knowledge and understanding of different areas of the subject and how they relate to each other.

Entry requirements

It is expected that you will achieve an A Grade at GCSE in the subjects that you wish to continue to AS Level.

GCSE Maths, English and Biology at Grade B or above.

If you are joining us for Sixth Form from another school we require that you achieve at least six A Grades and above at GCSE Level.
