ICT Systems and Principles for IT Professionals Level 3 Diploma at Newham College of Further Education

Course description

You will be required to go through the highly sought after Cisco CCENT programme. This will allow you to gain a Level 3 Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles for IT Professionals. The course will develop your skills and understanding in each of the following areas: Technologies used on the Internet Advanced networking technologies including proprietary Cisco technologies Setting up, troubleshooting and designing small and large networks The ability to setup and use Cisco hardware equipment Effectively design and administer complex networks to suit business needs Working as an IT Network Engineer in a professional environment You will learn in a variety of ways - through talks, and demonstrations, by completing organised practical tasks, routine tests and studying independently.

Entry requirements

You need to have the CompTIA A+ or equivalent knowledge, a minimum of 5 GCSEs and should be familiar with using Microsoft Windows systems.

Future opportunities

On achievement of these industry recognised qualifications you will have extensive knowledge and skills to enhance your employability prospects in the IT industry. It will enable you to apply for various roles within the IT industry, which include job titles such as Network Technician, Network Engineer and technical support roles.
