Geography AS/A2 Level at Cecil Jones College

Course description

Geography students study modules on both physical and human environments and the interaction of physical and human factors. Students will study aspects of rivers, tectonics, atmospheric systems, fieldwork techniques, population and settlement. Geography develops key skills that will allow students to truly flourish within this subject.

Entry requirements

Five A*-C including a grade B in Geography.


Assessment is through end of module exams and a coursework enquiry.

Future opportunities

Possible career opportunities can include becoming an aid worker, cartographer, chartered surveyor and civil engineer. This course also allows you to gain the skills needed to go onto university.
