Vocational Studies Diploma (Entry Level 3) at Harrow College

Course description

This qualification is designed for learners who wish to take a vocationally related qualification, but who are undecided on a specific sector to study.

Course content

All learners will study mandatory units in Self-Assessment and Career Progression, together with a range of option units that offer an experience of different vocational areas. Units are designed to be practical and will allow learners to develop employability skills, which will improve their career prospects. Functional Skills in English and Maths will form an integral part of this programme.

Entry requirements

No formal entry requirements except English and Maths are required to be at least Entry 2. Applicants will be required to attend an interview and take an initial assessment.

Internally assessed portfolio of evidence.

Future opportunities

Learners will have the opportunity to study units at a higher level, which will enable them to progress to Level 1 vocational qualifications.
