OCR Diploma in Sport at Bishop Challoner Catholic College

Course description

This course can be the equivalent to 2 or 3 A Levels. The course will cover either 10 units or 15 units of work some of which will be externally set. It has been designed as part of a two year programme and is aimed at students who are looking to progress to employment in sports performance or would like to continue their studies into higher education.

Please be reminded that this new course is now externally assessed in the form of an exam and a 2 hour assessment therefore it is advised that pupils have the ability to successfully complete these assessments. At the date of publication the vocational course offer for 2017/2018 is yet to be decided.

Entry requirements

It is advised, if choosing this course, that you are of a reasonable practical ability and that you are aspiring for a career in sports performance or opportunities of this nature.
