Course content

Trainees will work in hotels, restaurants, staff canteens, public houses, and fast food outlets serving customers.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have a good general level of education and ideally some work experience in this type of role. This would suit someone with a friendly personality, flexible, can meet deadlines, work under pressure and enjoy working as part of a team.

Assessment

Apprenticeship inProfessional Cookery.
Trainees will do Functional Skills and several short series of tests.
You may be exempt from either part of the Functional Skills depending upon GCSE results.

Further information

Professional Cookery is ideal for a young person who wants to acquire practical skills in the hospitality industry, with a love of working with various fresh foods.

Pay details, minimum of  per week for 40 hour week.

      In the main we will visit you at your employer’s premises and our qualified experienced Training Advisors will work with you on a one-to-one basis.
