Economics A Level at Queen Mary's College
Economics seeks to explain the highly complex systems that we have developed to use and abuse the world’s limited resources. Economics issues and controversies studied include: How economic decisions are made; Economic growth; The impact of economic activity on the environment; The price of a mobile phone; The problems of developing economies; The European Union; Global trade; and Britain’s economic future in the world.
The course will equip you with a range of ideas and skills which you can apply to real world economic problems in a critical way. You will work using a range of study skills including group work, presentations, workbooks and internet research, as well as conventional classroom study methods.
