Skills for Independence and Work Entry Level 2 at East Surrey College

Course description

This course provides a full-time, 1 year, Edexcel accredited programme for students aged 16 – 24 years old with complex needs. Consultations are held with parents and carers, and observation of students preferred learning styles are carried out. In response to this, students will then have the opportunity to follow a personal programme of development within a group setting. The course will help develop independence skills for living and insight to the world of work, as well as engagement, and involvement and integration in students’ daily lives supported.

Assessment

All units will be assessed within the college using a variety of appropriate methods

Financial information

If you are 19 or over the full published fees apply unless you qualify for a concessionary fee.

Future opportunities

Students will experience more engagement with the world and community around them. Some students may progress to Entry 3 in the following academic year.
