Installing Security Systems Level 3 at Access Training Centre

Course description

On this Apprenticeship, you would be installing fire or security systems and wiring them to control panels; testing systems; carrying out maintenance; explaining to customers how to use the system; and repairing faulty systems. You’ll probably be working with technologies like wire-free system links and infrared – you could even learn to fit complex arrangements like CCTV and integrated systems. Work is usually carried out on customers’ premises and will therefore include an element of travel (sometimes with overnight stays). Some outdoor work may be involved. Adult workers are often required to be ‘on call’ during unsociable hours.
