Entry requirements

Not all chemists wear white coats!! Chemists can work in super clean facilities producing silicon chips (the heart of all phones and computers) or they can be Marine Chemists assessing pollution, or collecting ice samples in the Antarctic. Ideally you will be achieving at least 5 A*-C grades at GCSE (or equivalent). This should include GCSE Maths and English. The major difference between GCSE and A Level is that the work will is more detailed, more precise and more mathematical.

You will be able to progress to university level study or on to employment. Please note this certificate is equal to an AS qualification however it is yet to be allocated official UCAS points. Therefore it is recommended you check with universities you are interested in if they accept this qualification
