You will have the opportunity to develop your practical skills and knowledge in the following areas - games software development, installing hardware and software, networking, security systems, programming, animation, digital graphics and project planning – and will achieve the qualification by completing assignments and practical tasks are based on realistic workplace situations. The Level 3 qualification will enable you to pursue a career in the IT and computing industry or progress to further higher level study such as an HNC, HND or university programme, or combine working and studying on an apprenticeship which will enable you to earn while you learn.

To access this course you are required to have: •Four or more GCSEs at grade C or above which must include maths, English and one technical subject such as science, IT, graphics, design & technology, etc OR •Level 2 ICT related qualification at Distinction or Merit level.
