Skills for Working Life Entry 2 and 3 at Boston College

Course description

This course is designed to introduce you to vocational subjects, whilst progressing your independence and personal development skills. You will have the opportunity to work within specific vocational areas and gain skills for future employment. 
 

Course content

You will take part in realistic working environments within a range of vocational activities including accessing the main college to access a subject of your choice. Within these activities you will learn new practical skills, work safely within the environments, good customer service, good conduct at work and working with other. 

You will also take part in enterprise and leisure activities that help you to develop your independence skills.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry qualifications for this course.

Assessment

The majority of the work is practical and the remainder is producing a portfolio of your work across the year.

Future opportunities

This course will enable you to progress to the next level course or onto Employability Skills at Entry Level 3 or Level 1.
