Art and Design Diploma Level 2 at City of Bristol College

Course description

Specialist units will provide you with basic and creative skills in Art & Design, 2D & 3D work, surface design, drawing & painting, print making, mixed media materials and techniques. You will also have the opportunity to work on a personal project.

For students with low GCSE maths and/or English GCSE results, you will have the opportunity to work on developing your maths and English through Functional Skills and/or GCSE Resits. The course also looks at providing vocational linked projects to help develop English and maths, as well as presentation, organisation and communication.

Entry requirements

All applicants will need a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade D, including maths and/or English, a foundation Diploma, NVQ 1 or satisfactory completion of a learning programme at Level 1 with a minimum of 37 credits employment
