Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship Level 2 at Moulton College

Course description

Our Intermediate Apprenticeship has been designed for people who are just starting a career as a Site Carpenter and/or Bench Joiner. You will have two choices, Site Carpentry or Bench Joinery. You will start by learning basic woodwork joints i.e. dovetail and mortice working towards completing a four joint frame. As you develop your skills you will study the making or fi tting of windows, doors and stairs and many more tasks. If you study the site carpentry pathway you will also cover all aspects of 1st and 2nd fi x and roofi ng.

Entry requirements

To complete your apprenticeship, you will also need to achieve English and maths, if you haven’t already achieved a C or above at GCSE. You will also complete Employment Rights and Responsibility and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills which will support you in your chosen career.
