Skills for Performing Arts Supported Learning at LeSoCo

Course description

Our Performing Arts study programmes are validated by University of the Arts (UAL) and include distinct areas of study: Drama, Dance & Technical Theatre. For drama your training will include principles of acting, contemporary performance, classical performance, musical theatre, voice, physical theatre, improvisation and historical research. For dance your study programme will include ballet, contemporary dance, jazz dance, choreography. Technical theatre ranges from set design, lighting, sound, costumes, prop making and much much more All programmes involve live performances for invited audiences in our dedicated 90 seater Tressillian Theatre and purpose built dance studios. You can expect to be involved in at least 3 performances each year plus our annual festival, schools tour and site specific performances around London.

Future opportunities

You can progress into one of our other supported vocational courses, or into higher level performing arts courses.
