Course description

Course Content:

Candidates develop and extend their competence in each of the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) via the study of specific cultural and social topics. At AS level these include:

* Leisure and lifestyle (tourism, sport, hobbies, customs, healthy living etc.)
* The individual and society (relationships, responsibilities, gender issues, youth culture, education, training, future career etc.)

Assessment is via an examination in each module as follows:

* Module 1: a speaking test on prepared topics
* Module 2: listening, reading, writing test. (including grammar and vocalubary test)

Entry requirements

GCSE Grade B or above in Spanish.
