English Literature at Thrybergh Academy and Sports College

Course description

Pupils will explore a wide range of literature with a wide variety of appeal drawn from contemporary texts. These texts have had a significant influence on our English literary and cultural heritage

Course content

Pupils will explore and analyse modern prose and drama texts, Shakespearian text  and an anthology of poetry containing contemporary  and literary heritage poems

I controlled assessment based on a Shakespearian text and an external assessment
