Course description

Students will be provided with the critical tools to carry out their own readings and investigations, and generate their own questions of the mass media. The course provides a detailed study of genre, narrative, representations, media language and forms, media institutions, values and ideology, and audiences. The units studied are: Media: Critical Perspectives (Examination, 50%) Media: Research and Production (Coursework, 50%)
