Economics A Level at Oasis Academy Shirley Park

Course description

Economics A-Level gives pupils a genuine insight into the way the world works. Through exploring issues such as why unemployment exists, how governments can deal with recessions, and why firms and individuals make the decisions they do, students are able to engage with the news and develop their own opinions on dealing with challenges in the economy. Students who undertake this course have the opportunity to enhance their skills of analysis and critical evaluation, to become independent leaners and thinkers, and to have the confidence to cultivate their own views and perspectives on the world.
