Psychology at Lincoln Christ's Hospital School

Course description

This course is designed to foster an interest in and an appreciation of Psychology. The OCR specification uses a wide range of assessment techniques allowing candidates to demonstrate what they understand and are able to do.

The AS content is categorised under five core areas of psychology: cognitive, developmental, physiological, social and the psychology of individual differences. It focuses on a series of research studies chosen to represent the range of psychological research interests.

At A2, candidates study two specialist topics in Health & Clinical Psychology and Forensic Psychology.

Entry requirements

Five GCSE grades A* - C including Mathematics, Science and a B in English
