GENERAL COMMENTS

It is desirable that candidates should have undertaken a course in Textiles at GCSE level in order to provide them with a solid foundation on which to base their Advanced Level work. It is expected that students will have a lively interest in textiles, the origins of fashion and furnishings and their manufacture. There will be a significant amount of course work to be completed both in and out of school. The student must also be aware that materials for such work will need to be provided by themselves.

Entry requirements

In order to study AS level Textiles Technology you must have followed a full GCSE course and obtained at least a grade B.
