Plumbing Diploma Level 1 at Canterbury College
This course is an ideal introduction to plumbing, and entry into the industry. You will learn the basic skills in pipework, installation, maintenance and science.
A Diploma in Plumbing covers a number of subjects including structure of the construction industry, fundamental safe working practices, environmental and sustainability measures in domestic dwellings, site preparation for working in the construction industry, above ground drainage, copper pipework, plastic pressure pipework, low carbon steel pipework, installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing systems and plumbing science.
No formal qualifications.
Students will be assessed by a mixture of practical activities, written assignments and multiple-choice examinations.
You can progress into the plumbing industry or onto a Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing Studies.
Students are expected to complete 30 hours of work experience.
