Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 2 Diploma at Hull College Group

Course description

This Level 2 course offers ideal steps for learners progressing from level 1 and who wish to continue their studies, and provides the knowledge for those in employment on the VCQ level 2 programme.

The qualification is made up of various units which include vehicle system knowledge and carrying out various practical tasks in the motor vehicle workshop.

Functional skills are used for further development of Maths, English and ICT.

Entry requirements

Completion of the Level 1 Diploma. Relevant level of knowledge and pre-course knowledge assessment.


Each unit has a written as well as computer based assessment.

Learners are expected to provide boots and overalls and basic writing materials.
